Postponed NBA Warriors games rescheduled after Milojevic's death
The NBA has announced the rescheduling of two Golden State Warriors games that were postponed last week in the wake of the tragic death of Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic. These schedule changes have also necessitated two other alterations to the NBA's April schedule.

Milojevic, a Serbian assistant coach who was part of the Warriors' NBA championship-winning team in 2022, sadly passed away on January 17 in Salt Lake City at the age of 46 due to a heart attack.

The originally scheduled game for the Warriors against the Utah Jazz on January 17 will now take place on February 15. This rescheduled game will be the third in four nights for the Warriors, with the team playing against Utah on February 12 and facing the Los Angeles Clippers at home on February 14.

Following the rescheduled game, the Warriors will have a break for the NBA All-Star Game and won't return to the court until February 22 when they host the Los Angeles Lakers.

Additionally, the game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors, originally planned for January 19, has been moved to April 2. Similarly, the Warriors' game against the Dallas Mavericks, which was initially set for April 2, will now take place on April 5.

As a result of these reschedulings, the Atlanta Hawks' game against the Dallas Mavericks, which was initially scheduled for April 5, has been shifted to April 4.

These changes will require the Warriors to undergo another run of three games in four nights, as they will face the Houston Rockets on April 4 in between their matchups with the Dallas Mavericks.

Currently, with a record of 19-23, the Golden State Warriors are sitting in 12th place in the Western Conference. They are trailing the Utah Jazz by two games for the final play-in position in the post-season.

The rescheduling of these games serves as a reminder of the impact of Dejan Milojevic's passing and the adjustments that need to be made in light of such a tragic event. The Warriors will aim to regroup and continue their push for a playoff spot as they navigate their revised schedule.
