Selivanenko Reviews Monte-Carlo Masters Draw for Andrey Rublev

Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (FTR) Alexey Selivanenko has commented on the results of the Monte-Carlo Masters draw for the Russian player Andrey Rublev.

"I don't see the point in making predictions, especially several games ahead. Monte-Carlo is one of the oldest and most prestigious tournaments in tennis, winning it means a lot in any player's career. Rublev loves and knows how to play on clay, but the same applies to other players as well. We will see everything soon," Selivanenko quoted by Metaratings.by.

A reminder, yesterday, on April 5, the Monte-Carlo Masters draw took place in Monaco, where the sixth-ranked world player from Russia, Andrey Rublev, will defend his title. The defending champion could play against Australian Alexei Popyrin or a qualifier in the second round, and in the quarterfinals, Rublev, according to seeding, could meet with the world's number one player from Serbia, Novak Djokovic.
