Not all Parisian supporters may agree, but Yacine Adli, a former PSG midfielder, recently expressed his admiration for Neymar in an interview with YouTuber Zack Nani for the show "Zack en Roue Libre." Adli, who played alongside Neymar at PSG, believes the Brazilian star's talent surpasses that of Ronaldinho at the peak of his career.
"When Neymar arrived in Paris, he was like an alien. Everything he did was extraordinary—his passes, dribbles... he could do it all. He rarely lost the ball and scored 7 or 8 goals in tight spaces. He would take the ball and bam-bam, bam-bam! He was a machine. I've never seen a player like that," Adli shared.
Now playing in Serie A with Fiorentina, on loan from AC Milan, Adli is still captivated by Neymar's skill. He insists that Neymar has few equals in football history. "There are often debates between Neymar and Ronaldinho, but Neymar is clearly superior. I say this sincerely. Neymar is just too strong. For me, he’s only slightly below Messi and Ronaldo."
While both players won the Champions League with Barcelona, Ronaldinho has the edge of a World Cup victory with Brazil in 2002 and the Ballon d'Or in 2005. Neymar, on the other hand, finished third in the Ballon d'Or in 2015 and 2017, securing only the Olympic Games and the Confederations Cup with his national team. Now at Al-Hilal, Neymar is on the verge of a return to the field after a lengthy injury.
