However, the question remains about Sage's future. According to L'Equipe, Sage seemed likely to keep his position even before the recent victory against Nantes. But when asked about his future after the match, Sage was less definitive and rather evasive. "I don't know if I will be involved when the season resumes. I can only say that I will be at Olympique Lyonnais, but I don't know in what capacity," he confessed during the press conference.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Sage's position, the players, who have faced criticism throughout the season, seem to be fully behind the 44-year-old coach. Duje Caleta Car appreciates the freedom and positive atmosphere that Sage has brought to the team compared to a few months ago. However, he admits that the decision ultimately lies with the club. Rayan Cherki, who was sidelined by Grosso but provided the assist for Alexandre Lacazette's goal on Wednesday, is even more enthusiastic, stating, "We feel comfortable with him and his coaching staff.
